Saunterer attends Toe in Water, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight.
Date: 3rd May, 2011Saunterer made her first passage of the 2011 season to Yarmouth, via Weymouth and Poole, to race in the Toe in the Water regatta. She had six Royal Dragoon Guards on board who had not been sailing before and had a lovely drift around a few marks. One of the crew asked, “Has the race started yet?”
The Sunday was cancelled due to too much wind but Saunterer had a great weekend with the Dragoon Guards, who kept us thoroughly entertained – and Saunterer is proud to be associated with the regiment.
