The 2015 Restoration begins

The 2015 Restoration will focus on removing and replacing Saunterer’s keel, renewing her keel bolts and replacing her floors… the last chapter of major structural work…

…which is the first time this has been done in her 115 years.

The start has been brought forward from Winter 2015.

Passage to Dartmouth

Date: 6th April, 2015

Saunterer sailed from the Solent to Dartmouth on 5 and 6 April 2015…

rounding Portland Bill in perfect conditions on 6 April 2015…

and tying up in Dartmouth before nightfall.
